This animated version of Robert Louis Stevenson's classic novel tells a story based in 15th century England.  Sir Daniel Brackley, a wealthy but corrupt lord, has instituted a tax on taxes.  His subjects are irate, and an outlaw named Black Arrow has taken matters into his own hands.  Brackley sends his nephew, Richard Shelton, on an errand, but the journey is perilous.  When young Richard finds Black Arrow he discovers that all is not as it seems.  His views on the world must shift and so should the balance of power.  If Richard can only survive this journey his world will never be the same.
