| This animated version of Alexandre Dumas' classic novel tells the story of the King of France and his identical twin brother. King Louis XIII splits his sons up at birth so they won't disrupt the balance of power. Years later King Louis XIV is on the throne; while, his brother Philippe anonymously lives in the country. They may look identical, but it is clear that they are very different people. The Bishop of Vaughn, Aramis, comes up with a plot to switch Louis and Philippe in order to make himself a more significant person. He enlists the help of Porthos (a retired Musketeer), but tells him little of the actual scheme. Will King Louis be able to protect himself, or will Philippe take the place without anyone being the wiser? Approximate Running Time: 50 minutes |
