This animated version of Robert Louis Stevenson's classic novel tells the tale of young Jim Hawkins. One night while working at his mothers Inn an unusual man arrives names, Billy Bones. He tells Jim all about the pirates that chase him and provides young Jim with the map they are after. That evening pirates arrive at the Inn looking for Billy Bones, but he has already passed away. Jim takes the map to the local magistrate who commissions a crew and a ship. Captain Long John Silver is a member of this crew, and he takes an instant liking to Jim. Jim feels more comfortable having a friend on the voyage, but trusting a pirate can be a hazardous endeavor.
